Karla has been living a life rooted in faith for over thirty years.  She knows personally  the heartbreak of a broken family, seasons of personal loss, the sudden death of a loved one, serious illness  in family members, the challenges of foster care and adoption, raising a family in a challenging society, marital struggles, moments of spiritual disconnection, and the ongoing search for purpose. Through all of these experiences, Karla has witnessed God’s victory time and time again, and now she passionately walks alongside others with deep compassion and understanding.

For more than two decades, Karla has walked alongside people of diverse ages and backgrounds, offering encouragement and spiritual guidance. Together with her husband, she co-founded Transformed Marriages, now the marriage ministry of Ave Maria Parish, where she also coordinates the Marriage Preparation Program.

Karla finds her greatest joy working with the Encounter School of Ministry, where she is dedicated to helping others become equipped, empowered, and activated to demonstrate the love of Christ in the world.
